The double ABC categorization is a corner stone in ABC Analyzer. Use it to gain an overview of your products, suppliers or customers.
On the screenshot below you see a classic double ABC categorization created in ABC Analyzer.
New to ABC Analyzer? Do notice that after import, your data is only visible on "Data". You need to create a ABC categorization to begin.
Create a double ABC categorization
Use the button with the tiny green "plus" to create a new categorization. We recommend you use “Cost value” and “Picks/Order lines” for your first ABC Categorization.
- Click the big "Double ABC"-button on the right. (image below)
- Underneath the highlighted ABC matrix, setup the criteria (cost value 12 / Picks 12)
- Define the limits, most commonly used is 80 / 15 / 5
- Name your categorization (on the right)
- Click "OK" to save
Edit the categorization
Edit your categorization using the yellow pencil. You can alter and add extra categories to your categorization as often as you need.
