A static report is defined only by the product numbers it contains. All other reports automatically update using the latest data imported in ABC Analyzer.
Use the static report feature to track specific products related to potential "phase out" or "new products which have been granted extra marketing."
Static reports help you monitor items based on their product ID's.
- New products without sales, which have had extra marketing/campaign time
In this example we are looking at products which we (at some point) have been able to identify using mathematical criteria, eg. "New products with less than 3 picks for the first 8 months." If you want to "lock" the report and ensure it always will contain these specific product IDs
Transform a normal dynamic report to a static report
- Open the report
- Click ”Convert to static report” located in the lower left corner
- Press ”ok” in the pop op to convert all mathematical criteria and replaced them with “ID-criteria”
- Rename your report, eg. add the word "Static"
- Save the report
WARNING: Use static reports with ease. Without proper naming you can easily misguide yourself and your colleagues. All other reports and categorization allow products to move and shift based on their performance. It may be fatale to convert a "new products" report to a static report, as it will be outdated within a few months. We recommend only using static reports in .abcx-files you do not share!
